One Today screen
The homework to prepare, today's classes, the next exams, the latest marks and the school's announcements, on one screen. When there is nothing for tomorrow, it says so.
For schools, students and their families
SchoolPad is the app a school gives to its families. A parent opens it and sees, for each child, the homework to prepare, today's classes, the exam dates and the marks. Teachers fill it in a few taps. In Arabic, English and French.
Features
Families read on their phone, teachers write in a few taps, and the school sets up its classes on the web.
A parent signs in once with the school code and the child's account. The student uses the same account.
The homework to prepare, today's classes, the next exams, the latest marks and the school's announcements, on one screen. When there is nothing for tomorrow, it says so.
Day by day: the lessons, the notes and the homework of each subject, with the teacher's files. Each homework has a done checkbox, and an evening notification sums up what is due tomorrow.
The week of the class by day and period, with the subject, the teacher and the room. It opens on today.
A live session shows in Today and in the calendar with a Join button that opens the meeting (Google Meet, Zoom or Teams), and a reminder comes a few minutes before. Recorded lessons, with their video and files, are watched in the app when it suits you.
The coming exams with the date, the time and what to study. Once the teacher publishes the marks: each mark, the average per subject and the general average.
A notification the same day when the child is marked absent or late, and the list of those days for the last three months.
Holidays, activities, meetings and trips in a month view, and the school's announcements with their files. The school sees that the family has read them.
Write to one of your child's teachers and get the answer in the app, with a notification. The school can turn messaging off.
Sign in with one child's account, add your other children with their own username and password, then switch between them at the top of the screen.
In the app or on the web. A teacher works only with the classes he teaches.
Choose the class, the subject and the type (homework, lesson or note), write the title and the due date, and attach a photo of the board, a file or a video. The same line can go to several classes.
Schedule a live session (class, subject, date, time and duration) and paste the link of your Google Meet, Zoom or Teams meeting: families are notified, and again if you move or cancel it. Or publish a recorded lesson: upload a video (up to 500 MB) and documents, or paste a YouTube or Drive link. You see which students opened it.
Everyone is present by default: tap the absent, late or excused students and save. The family is notified the same day.
Schedule an exam, a quiz, an oral or a project and say what to study. Enter the marks, check the average, and publish when ready: families see nothing before.
One conversation per student with his family, with files when needed. The other side gets a notification.
On the web admin, at the school's own address.
Academic years and terms, levels and sections, subjects with their colour and icon, periods, and the teacher of each subject in each section.
Each student's file with the parents' phone numbers. A printable sheet of usernames and passwords per class to hand to the families, and an Excel export of the students.
Build the week of each section by day and period. A teacher who already has another class at that time is refused.
Events, holidays, activities, meetings and trips, for the whole school or for some classes, with a notification to the families concerned.
Send an announcement to the families, to the staff or to some classes, pin it, attach files, and see which families have read it.
A short notification to everyone, to the staff, to the families, to some classes or to some people.
Owner, admin, supervisor and teacher roles, plus your own. Permissions decide who sees and changes what.
Who created, changed or deleted what, and when.
For the family
A parent should not have to search. The app opens on Today, and Today starts with the homework to prepare.
For the teacher
A teacher has little time between two periods. Writing the agenda, taking attendance and publishing marks are short forms, in the app or on the web.
How it starts
There is nothing to install at the school, and a family only needs the app and the sheet the school gives it.
Security and privacy
A school records the names, the marks and the absences of minors. In SchoolPad each family sees only its own children, and nothing is used for advertising.
Each school has its own database and its own address. One school's data is never stored with another's.
There is no advertising, no analytics and no third-party tracker in the apps or in the admin. Firebase is used only to deliver notifications.
A family reaches only its own children. A teacher works only with the classes he teaches, unless the school gives him a wider role.
Passwords are stored hashed, never in clear text. The PIN of a device is removed after five wrong tries, and a user can add two-factor authentication with an authenticator app.
Connections between the apps and our servers use HTTPS. Files and videos are stored privately, with no public link: they open through a temporary link, given only to someone who is allowed to see the record.
The school's audit log records who created, changed or deleted a record, and when.
Mobile app
On Android and iOS. After the school code and the sign-in, the app shows the family side or the staff side by itself.
Pricing
The school subscribes. Families and teachers pay nothing, and every plan has the same features.

In cash, by bank transfer, by cheque, through OMT or Whish Money, or online by card. Families never pay in the app.
An early renewal starts at the end of the current year. After the end, the school has 7 days of grace, then read-only access: the data is kept.
We help you enter your classes, your students and your timetable, and we answer by phone, WhatsApp or e-mail.
FAQ
Contact us by WhatsApp, phone or e-mail with the name of the school and the number of students. We create the school and send you its school code, its web address and the owner's sign-in. The trial lasts 30 days and needs no payment.
The school gives each family a sheet with the school code, the child's username and a password. In the app, enter the school code, then the username and the password. After the first sign-in, the app offers a 4-digit PIN for the next times.
No. Sign in with one child's account, then add each other child once with his own username and password. After that, signing in with any of these accounts, on any phone, shows all your children.
No. The subscription is paid by the school. There is no payment and no advertising in the app.
Your family, and the staff of the school who work with your child's class. A teacher sees only the classes he teaches, and another family never sees your child. Each school has its own database.
Ask the school: it can give the student a new password and print it. A staff member with an e-mail address can reset his own password by e-mail.
The last Today screen, the agenda days already opened, the timetable and the list of children stay readable, with the time of the last update. Ticking a homework, taking attendance and sending a message need a connection.
The school has 7 more days where everything works. After that it becomes read-only: everything can still be read, nothing can be added or changed, and the data is not deleted. Renewing restores full access.
Open schoolpad.app/delete-account, enter the school code, your username and your password. The account is closed at once. The school's records about the student (class, marks, attendance) belong to the school and stay with it; ask the school if you want them corrected or deleted.
Yes. A teacher schedules a live session and adds the link of the meeting he created in Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams: families see it in Today and in the calendar with a Join button, and get a reminder a few minutes before. The video call itself runs in that service, not inside SchoolPad. Teachers can also publish recorded lessons (a video and documents), to watch in the app later. Live video inside the app itself is planned for later.
